DESCRIPTION:In this course\, the student will be taught to: \n\nUnderstand and apply the 4 universal gun safety rules.\nIdentify and demonstrate safe handling of .22 caliber handguns and rifles.\nUnderstand and follow all range safety commands and procedures.\nRecognize firearm malfunctions and respond appropriately.\nDemonstrate respect and responsibility while on the range.\nUnderstand basic firearm storage and transportation practices.\n\nThis course is a basic training course in the safe use of firearms using .22 caliber. single-action revolvers and lever-action rifles. This is not the Hunter Education course required by TPWD to receive a hunting license. \nThis course is taught by Terry Barber\, a 20-year veteran of law enforcement with over 30 years of teaching experience. \nIf a student is unable to attend the course date they paid for\, they will be allowed to attend our next course on the next scheduled date. If the student is unable to attend the next course\, they’re course fee will be forfeited.
