DESCRIPTION:Get your hunter’s education requirement fulfilled in one class!  Class will start promptly at 8:00 am – and should be finished by 5:00 pm (or as soon as testing concludes for everyone) with a 30-minute break for lunch. Please bring the following: \n\n A water bottle or drink\nHighlighter\nHoodie or sweater – the room is cool/cold!\nA good attitude!\n\nPlease bring exact change of $20 – cash. Class cost includes lunch on site\, due to the location (no close restaurants).  You may bring snacks/drinks.  Limited drinks and snacks on site. The class is at Shooters Texas LLC in Terrell – please see the map link.  You can reach Mike Robinson at 972.824.8655. \nThis course is designed for novice or young hunters\, ages 9 years and above. The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety\, hunting ethics\, and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. The Hunter Education Classroom Course lasts a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction. This time does not include registration\, breaks\, test administration\, and certification card distribution. Courses are offered across the state year round and are taught by certified volunteer instructors. The fee for the certification is $15. Some instructors may apply additional charges for the class\, such as range or facility fees. Pre-registration is required. SUMMARY:HUNTER EDUCATION COURSE - Class #1724365
DESCRIPTION:Get your hunter’s education requirement fulfilled in one class!  Class will start promptly at 8:00 am – and should be finished by 5:00 pm (or as soon as testing concludes for everyone) with a 30-minute break for lunch. Please bring the following: \n\n A water bottle or drink\nHighlighter\nHoodie or sweater – the room is cool/cold!\nA good attitude!\n\nPlease bring exact change of $15 – cash. Class cost does not include lunch. You may bring a sack lunch and drinks. Drinks and snacks are available for sale on site. The class is at Shooters Texas LLC in Terrell – please see the map link.  You can reach Mike Robinson at 972.824.8655. \nThis course is designed for novice or young hunters\, ages 9 years and above. The course covers the core competencies of firearm and hunting safety\, hunting ethics\, and wildlife conservation. All materials are provided. The Hunter Education Classroom Course lasts a maximum of 6 hours of classroom instruction. This time does not include registration\, breaks\, test administration\, and certification card distribution. Courses are offered across the state year round and are taught by certified volunteer instructors. The fee for the certification is $15. Some instructors may apply additional charges for the class\, such as range or facility fees. Pre-registration is required. Check with the instructor for directions and any special instructions prior to going to class. \nBe sure to verify with the instructor that the class you are registering for is the Classroom Course. \nYou may also contact your local Texas Parks and Wildlife Department office or call TPWD Austin headquarters at 1-800-792-1112\, ext. 4999. \nWhen you arrive at the course: \n\nPay the fee to the instructor.\nAttend the entire course.\nTake the written exam and get at least 75% correct to pass.\nUpon successful completion\, you may receive a temporary card from the instructor. You may legally hunt with a valid Texas hunting license and your temporary certification card.
