Firearm Transfer Services
A Federal Firearms License transfer is necessary when a person wishes to purchase a firearm outside of the state they reside in or from a geographically inconvenient FFL holder. Shooters Texas will assist customers with firearm transfers from licensed FFL dealers.
If a customer has a firearm sent to us for delivery from another dealer, there is a fee for the transfer. LTC holders pay $35, non LTC holders pay $40. If a firearm is purchased in our store or online store there is no transfer fee.

FEDERAL FIREARMS LICENSE TRANSFER
SHOOTERS TEXAS BUYS, SELLS and TRADES in all firearms, silencers, etc. We are a CLASS III DEALER and can handle any of your NFA needs.
- $40 transfer fee for standard transfers without a valid Texas License to Carry (LTC)
- $35 with a valid LTC
- $100 transfer fee for Class III items

AMMUNITION PURCHASES
You must be 18 or older to purchase rifle or shotgun ammunition and 21 or older to purchase handgun ammunition. All ammunition will be shipped ground with adult signature required. Always make sure to use the correct ammunition for your specific firearms. Check your local laws for any other regulations.
PURCHASING FIREARMS ONLINE
It is illegal to ship firearms to anyone not holding an active Federal Firearms License (FFL). For that reason, firearms purchased online may be picked up at our store or shipped to an FFL (gun store) near you. We may contact and verify the FFL you select during checkout before we ship your firearm(s). Please note, we charge a $40 fee for shipping firearms. The buyer is encouraged to contact the receiving FFL licensee before purchase. You must be 18 or older to purchase a rifle and 21 and older to purchase a handgun.
