TEENS FIREARMS EDUCATION COURSE $50

In this course, the student will be taught to:

• Understand and apply the 4 universal gun safety rules.
• Identify and demonstrate safe handling of .22 caliber handguns and rifles.
• Understand and follow all range safety commands and procedures.
• Recognize firearm malfunctions and respond appropriately.
• Demonstrate respect and responsibility while on the range.
• Understand basic firearm storage and transportation practices.

This course is a basic training course in the safe use of firearms using .22 caliber. single-action revolvers and lever-action rifles. This is not the Hunter Education course required by TPWD to receive a hunting license.

This course is taught by Terry Barber, a 20-year veteran of law enforcement with over 30 years of teaching experience.

If a student is unable to attend the course date they paid for, they will be allowed to attend our next course on the next scheduled date. If the student is unable to attend the next course, they’re course fee will be forfeited.
